Paul Zamek
President & CEO
Paul Zamek is a highly accomplished Owner’s Representative and executive with over 25 years of expertise in consulting, planning, and construction administration, specializing in educational facilities and campus development.
​
With a deep understanding of both project execution and institutional leadership, he has successfully managed and ​delivered numerous multimillion-dollar initiatives, overseeing more than $2 billion in development and expansion for premier academic institutions and mixed use projects across the United States.
​
As a Harvard-certified executive in School Management and Leadership, Zamek stands out for his ability to bridge the gap between construction oversight and institutional objectives. He expertly navigates complex

projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements, while fostering strong communication among stakeholders, including school leadership, faculty, staff, vendors, parents, and students.

Zamek’s expertise spans educational facility planning and development, campus master planning, strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, institutional advocacy, financial stewardship, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. His leadership ensures that every phase of a project is executed with precision and strategic foresight, from inception to completion.

Zamek’s career began in architecture, working with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Cooper, Robertson & Partners in New York City while earning his Master of Architecture degree. During this time, he worked on the design teams for projects at Stanford University, Yale University, Georgetown University, University of Virginia, St. Paul’s School, and various other prestigious academic institutions across the US.

In 2000 Zamek relocated to Miami, where he worked as an architect for a few years before transitioning to education, working as an owners representative consultant with Academica Charter Schools before accepting a position as Associate Head of School and Director of Operations for Palmer Trinity School in 2014. Here he played a pivotal role for nine years in the school’s growth, during which time he incorporated Capital Z. He then served as Chief Operating Officer for Gulliver Preparatory School from 2023 to 2025, before committing himself to Capital Z as a full-time venture.

Zamek holds a Master of Architecture and was awarded the prestigious Alpha Rho Chi Medal from Columbia University (1998), a Certification in School Management & Leadership from Harvard University (2025), and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Urban Studies and Architecture from Lehigh University (1992). He has held a Florida Real Estate License since 2013.

A former board member of the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, an active member of the National Business Officers Association, National Association of Independent Schools, Southern Association of Independent Schools, and the Florida Council of Independent Schools, Zamek remains deeply engaged in shaping the future of educational infrastructure.

Zamek is married with two daughters and resides in Palmetto Bay, Florida.
